Dr. Bahar Madani is a board-certified gastroenterologist and hepatologist committed to helping patients achieve optimal digestive health. She is passionate about the early detection and prevention of colon cancer, believing that with today’s advanced techniques, no one should lose their life to this preventable disease. Dr. Madani takes a patient-centered approach, treating every patient like family and fostering collaboration to achieve the best possible outcomes. She prioritizes educating her patients and empowering them to make informed decisions about their health.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Madani is dedicated to mentoring future physicians and has been actively involved in medical education. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences. Another key focus of her practice is the early diagnosis and management of fatty liver disease and metabolic syndrome to prevent complications such as cirrhosis, liver cancer, and the need for liver transplantation.
Dr. Madani attended medical school at Tehran University of Medical Sciences Internal Medicine in 2001. She completed her Residency at Rochester General Hospital in 2008, followed by her Fellowship training in Transplant Hepatology University of Pittsburg in 2009. She also had additional Fellowship training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Methodist Hospital, Dallas in 2012.
Dr. Madani enjoys cooking, baking, singing, and playing music with her family outside of work. She is fluent in English and Farsi.
