
Phildrich Teh, MD, MS
RHEUMATOLOGY
Dr. Teh graduated summa cum laude from the University of California San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He then attended medical school at the University of Vermont on a merit scholarship. Following graduation, he completed his internal medicine training at the University of California Riverside where he also served as class representative. He then completed his rheumatology fellowship at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology.
Dr. Teh is passionate about providing comprehensive, high quality care and treats patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders, both non-inflammatory and inflammatory, along with systemic autoimmune diseases. He treats conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, lupus, Sjogren’s syndrome, scleroderma, inflammatory myositis, polymyalgia rheumatica, and the different types of vasculitides.
Dr. Teh has a strong research background and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in the fields of rheumatology & biochemistry and has presented his research at local and national conferences. He utilizes his scientific background in providing the most up to date and evidence-based care for his patients.
Dr. Teh is a Southern California native and currently resides in San Diego with his wife and son. In his spare time, he loves to travel, try out different restaurants, and play basketball. Dr. Teh is fluent in English, Filipino (Tagalog) and Chinese (Fukien).
